It has only taken me a few years to put a comment online apologies. Mr Gnanalingham was so good and made such a difference in my husbands life and has been pain free ever since. I would highly recommend him he was so nice to talk to.

I recently suffered an episode of extreme Back Pain which left me incapacitated and anxious. I needed help and contacted Mr Kanna Gnanalingham at Manchesterneuro. His Personal Assistant Mrs Vaani arranged a Face To Face Meeting with Mr Gnanalingham on a Saturday morning. I felt completely comfortable throughout the Consultation and an urgent MRI Scan was arranged within days. The results of the Scan were discussed thoroughly during a second Face to Face consultation and a management plan forward was agreed. I now feel much better. At all times I was treated with Care, Courtesy, and Professionalism, being able to contact his PA Vaani re arrangements at any time. I am very grateful for the help received, and should any problems reoccur I will contact Manchesterneuro immediately. It gives me great reassurance to know they are there if needed.

I initially met Dr Gnanalingham in January of 2020 after numerous consultations with neurosurgeons across the world to discuss an abnormality found from a MRI scan, Dr Gnanalingham was the only one who did not rush me into surgery, allowing me the opportunity to fully understand my situation and allow me to monitor my condition, even throughout the pandemic he was readily available to answer any calls and conduct any necessary appointments. In July 2021 after 18 months of monitoring, it became evident my condition was progressing and thus surgery would be the best course of action to avoid any change in my day to day life, Dr Gnanalingham arranged multiple scans, a second opinion from another Neurosurgeon and booked in a date for surgery all of which took place within 2 weeks of my July consultation. In the lead up to the surgery Dr Gnanalingham made ample time to answer all questions from my family and I, making sure we were all as comfortable as possible. On the day of the procedure Dr Gnanalingham came and saw me explained the procedure one more time and again made sure I was comfortable and happy to proceed. Post-surgery Dr Gnanalingham visited me multiple times and was in contact with my family throughout to assure them everything went smoothly, I am now 6 weeks post-surgery and on my recovery path thanks Dr Gnanalingham and his care, in hindsight there is no doubt I made the right decision by choosing Dr Gnanalingham as my neurosurgeon.

Holidaying in Majorca in September 17 l stumbled on some rocks. I felt pain on my right side my lower back and down my right leg, whilst out walking. On returning home l still felt uncomfortable and after visiting various physios l I had a few sessions of chiropractic manipulation, all to no avail. I was then referred me to Mr Kanna Gnanalingham. After discussion and two epidurals we agreed to proceed to surgery. My operation was undertaken by Mr Gnanalingham at the Alexandra Hospital Cheadle. After a slow recovery from the operation l was discharged home after a physiotherapy review. I would like to say how grateful l am to Mr Gnanalingham for his kind professional attentions to my back problem and l would strongly recommend his services to my family and friends if ever needed.
